The 5th generation Civic Type R had a face-lift for the 2020/2021 model years. Here's what Honda changed or added:
Exterior
Front bumper cutouts that removes the honeycomb side grilles in favor of black plastic pieces with color-matching trim elements.

The grille is 13% larger which allows for improved engine cooling. Honda says this lowers engine coolant temperatures up to 18 degrees Fahrenheit during hard driving such as running on racetracks.
Since the larger grille actually generated a loss in downforce, the front spoiler had to be redesigned to generate more downforce. The front spoiler was made slightly deeper on the left and right sides, and it includes new ribbed sections on each end to deflect air back onto the spoiler.
The updated radiator core delivers improved engine cooling.

The rear bumper receives a color-matching piece of bumper trim, and the honeycomb plastic accent gets re-shaped smaller.

Side mirrors have integrated turn signals.

Suspension & Brakes
Adaptative damper system takes samples of road conditions 10-times quicker resulting in more accurate damper reactions.
Rear bushings are 8% stiffer in lateral loads on the lower-B arm. This improves cornering with better toe-in.
Front compliance bushings are stiffened 10 percent longitudinally
The front lower ball joints are lower friction.
For improved brake performance with better fade resistance as well as reduced unsprung weight, the Type R's single-piece front brake rotors are replaced by new two-piece rotors gripped by brake pads with a new more fade-resistant pad material. From the cockpit, the brake pedal benefits from a more immediate feel with approximately 17% less play before the brakes engage. In addition, the new front brake system reduces total unsprung weight by about 5 lbs (2.5 lbs at each front wheel) to aid both ride and handling performance.
